Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to enhance our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in complex litigation, personal injury, and insurance defense.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, your duties will include:
  • Overseeing a variety of complex litigation cases, including personal injury and insurance defense, from initiation to resolution.
  • Conducting comprehensive investigations, legal research, and discovery to identify critical issues and formulate effective case strategies.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs while ensuring adherence to relevant laws.
  • Representing clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations, presenting arguments and evidence effectively.
  • Providing legal counsel to clients, clearly explaining their rights, potential risks, and possible outcomes.
  • Maintaining consistent communication with clients, updating them on case developments.
  • Collaborating with team members to share knowledge and enhance the firm's collective expertise.
  • Staying informed on current laws, regulations, and industry trends to improve case strategies and client guidance.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in complex litigation, personal injury, and insurance defense.
  • Active member of the state bar in good standing.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with the capability to represent clients effectively in various legal proceedings.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity, committed to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload while ensuring high-quality work and client service.
  • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
