Job Summary

Cedarbrook Senior Care & Rehab is seeking a skilled Environmental Service Technician to join its team in a part-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and infection-free environment in our skilled nursing facility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks in patient areas, including resident rooms and restrooms
  • Conduct general cleaning tasks in offices and public areas
  • Operate specialized equipment and use disinfectants and chemicals to maintain a clean environment
  • Perform a full range of floor care procedures, including application of finish and carpet care

Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, supplies, and equipment
  • Ability to learn the specific uses of assigned equipment and cleaning products
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, other facility staff, and residents and their families
  • Must have full use of hands, ability to stand for extensive periods, bend, pull, push and lift a minimum of 40 pounds
