Job Overview

The World Equestrian Center Wilmington is in search of a part-time A Sudden Impulse Sales Associate. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

The role of a Sudden Impulse Sales Associate involves maintaining a tidy and organized store environment, warmly welcoming customers, assisting them with their needs, and managing new inventory as it arrives. Associates will collaborate with the store supervisor to process custom embroidery orders and assist in weekly inventory counts, as well as manage transactions through the POS system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a friendly and positive demeanor while interacting with customers.
  • Regularly organize and clean the store to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Work alongside the supervisor to foster positive staff relations, contributing to a supportive work environment.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Manage customer orders efficiently and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels within the store.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Basic mathematical and computer skills.
  • Familiarity with retail POS systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adept at problem-solving.
  • Professional appearance is required.
