Role Summary

The Senior Advanced Primary Care (APC) Recruiter is pivotal in identifying, attracting, and securing healthcare providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, as well as clinical personnel and leadership roles within our Primary Care division. While the primary focus is on provider recruitment, we seek a versatile recruiter willing to engage in various tasks as needed. This role demands a strategic and proactive recruitment approach, emphasizing the establishment of strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and positive hiring journey.

Our Talent Acquisition team currently consists of five recruiters handling urgent care and corporate recruitment. This position will be the inaugural recruiter dedicated to our Primary Care function, collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and the Chief Medical Officer to develop processes, documentation, marketing materials, and recruitment KPIs.

Your Contributions

  • Recruitment Strategy: Formulate and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier primary care providers and clinical staff.
    • Employ diverse sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
    • Remain informed about industry trends and best practices in healthcare recruitment.
  • Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Identify and engage potential candidates through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
    • Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations to ensure candidates meet necessary qualifications, licensure, and cultural fit.
    • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified primary care providers.
  • Candidate Coordination & Experience:
    • Organize and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtually, with candidates and hiring managers.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process.
    • Assist hiring managers in making informed hiring decisions by providing detailed candidate assessments and recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Relationship Management:
    • Work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, residency programs, and professional organizations to source potential candidates.
    • Act as a liaison between candidates and the organization, ensuring effective communication and a seamless hiring process.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Keep accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics and performance to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Onboarding Support:
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
    • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure all pre-hire requirements and onboarding tasks are completed.

Candidate Profile

  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years in healthcare recruitment, particularly in primary care.
  • Proven Provider Recruiter: Demonstrated success in recruiting and hiring primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, with an established network of providers throughout New England.
  • Exceptional Hiring Partner: Ability to quickly build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Innovative Problem-Solver: A proactive recruiter who thinks creatively to fill roles efficiently.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinker: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with value-based care models.
  • Technologically Proficient: Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly SharePoint, Word, and Excel, along with proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
