Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan individualized patient care to achieve desired outcomes
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficient in use of computer software, including electronic patient records
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree
  • Experience in orthopedic nursing
  • Knowledge of JCAHO requirements for pain management
