POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is situated within the Information Management and Technology Directorate (IM&T) under the Office of the Director of Administration & Management (ODA&M). The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the Pentagon Area Customer Council (PACC) to support the IM&T Directorate's objective of providing a premier IT experience as an OSD enterprise, facilitating high-level decision-making for the Department of Defense (DoD) leadership. Responsibilities include managing meetings, executing agendas, facilitating discussions, and engaging with senior stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and implement the PACC Planning and Coordination Cell (PCC).
- Facilitate discussions and ensure all topics are adequately prepared for presentation to the PACC.
- Coordinate compliance with action plans and milestones across various components.
- Develop and disseminate standardized strategic communications while tracking performance and asset management metrics.
- Manage logistics for conference room bookings.
- Oversee RSVP tracking and attendance management.
- Coordinate agendas, pre-meeting materials, and meeting minutes.
- Capture, coordinate, and distribute meeting minutes effectively.
- Utilize tools and platforms that integrate authoritative data sources for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on senior decision-making processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder coordination across the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience at the Pentagon within the OSD, Joint Staff, or Service level is preferred.
Experience with DoD governance forums, meeting management, and senior leader engagement is advantageous.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of professional experience; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of OSD organization and decision-making processes, with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively support DoD senior leaders.
- Expertise in decision support, metric development, and data-driven capabilities for managing complex organizations with diverse functional activities.
- Focus on operational performance and improvement, with knowledge of tools that facilitate effective decision-making.
- A Secret clearance is required upon hiring.
