At DISH Wireless, we are seeking a highly skilled Staff Packet Core Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for deploying and debugging our standalone 5G network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and debug DISH's standalone 5G network
  • Utilize CI/CD operations to test, debug, and deploy solutions live
  • Deploy and support core network functions across a cutting-edge cloud-native standalone 5G network
  • Engage with vendor personnel to set up new services and features as well as upgrades
  • Participate in the investigation of innovative 5G technologies to improve the network virtualization infrastructure
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
  • 4 years of relevant experience in job offered or as Systems Administrator working within the Wireless industry
  • 4 years of work experience with/using the following: Implementing, integrating, and deploying solutions in the EPC (Evolved Packet Core), 5G core network design and implementation, SMF, UPF, AMF, NRF, NSSF, PCF, UDM, AUSF, MME, SAEGW, SPGW, and ePDG, Cloud Native Architecture including microservices and containerization, DevOps and CI/CD methodology, 5G, CUPS, LTE, HTTP, DNS, SRV6, TCP/IP, ICMP, and load balancing
Compensation:

$160,000.00 per year
