Job Summary
The RN House Supervisor delivers quality care to patients on the nursing units, ensuring their safety and continued care. The role involves assigning float pool staff, collaborating with Nurse Managers and Charge Nurses, and communicating information effectively intra and interdepartmentally.

Responsibilities
  • Assigns float pool staff and reassigns or changes staff schedules as needed.
  • Collaborates with Nurse Managers and Charge Nurses to maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Guarantees the most appropriate placement of patients based on diagnosis, acuity, and nursing care needs.
  • Communicates information effectively within and outside the department.

Requirements
  • A valid State of Pennsylvania Nursing License is required.
  • 3-5 years of management experience is preferred.
  • Previous psychiatric, behavioral, or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required.
