Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping.
  • Pass instruments to the surgeon during surgery and maintain accurate inventory of instruments and supplies.
  • Process and transport specimens to the laboratory.
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
