UCHealth is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping.
- Pass instruments to the surgeon during surgery and maintain accurate inventory of instruments and supplies.
- Process and transport specimens to the laboratory.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration required.
- 6 months of surgical experience or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
