- Collaborate with production managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to stay up-to-date on changing regulations and best practices.
- 10 years of experience in occupational health and safety, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety programs that reduce incidents and injuries.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OSHA and industry-specific standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform safety decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
