Radiation Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment program.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing radiation therapy, including administering treatments, monitoring side effects, and educating patients and families on treatment plans and self-care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cancer.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- 1 year of experience in oncology nursing or a related field.
