Sanitation Maintenance Worker

As a Sanitation Maintenance Worker at Hannaford, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our stores. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the breakroom and restrooms.
• Sweep and mop floors daily, and clean up spills promptly.
• Empty trash and recyclables, and schedule rotation and cleaning of dairy shelves.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, and shovel and salt sidewalks as required.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of safety and security.
Requirements
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule required, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
