Speech-Language Pathology Specialist Job Description

The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning is a leading provider of pediatric speech therapy services, seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Specialist to join our team in Texas City, TX. This is a 1099 contract position, requiring a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

About the Role

As a Speech-Language Pathology Specialist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating students with speech and language disorders. You will implement treatment plans, monitor student progress, and collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to adjust strategies based on individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, including notes, reports, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with SLPAs to ensure consistency and effectiveness in therapy sessions.
  • Provide support to families, offering guidance on how to reinforce therapeutic strategies at home.
