About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse RN in the CVICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiovascular conditions. Your expertise will be essential in creating and implementing individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring seamless communication with patients and families.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Prioritize patient and family needs, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program.
- Minimum one year of recent, full-time bedside Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU experience (preferably two years).
- Current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
