Job Overview: The Team Lead is accountable for the overall management of store operations in the absence of higher-level management. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal productivity and quality service, while also providing insights to the management team regarding any operational concerns or opportunities. Additionally, this position may assist in overseeing the fuel offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and address customer inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Facilitate seamless interactions between team members, customers, and their orders, ensuring effective food service and beverage operations.
  • Adhere to and enforce established safety, security, quality, and operational standards.
  • Guide, motivate, and mentor team members throughout the shift.
  • Manage inventory levels for all food service items according to the time of day.
  • Communicate potential growth opportunities within the food service and beverage sectors to the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Acknowledge team members and celebrate their achievements.
  • Implement cash handling procedures and perform managerial functions at the register.
  • Oversee the check-in process for vendors in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of store equipment and ensure that the facility meets all operational standards.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and direct others effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Availability to work 35-40 hours per week.
  • Flexible schedule including shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Preferred experience in leading, developing, and selecting teams.
  • Experience in training, sales enhancement, expense management, and food service planning.
  • Proven ability to implement changes effectively and achieve results.
  • Leadership experience in a dynamic retail, food service, or fuel environment is preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of store operations, particularly in food service.
  • Consistently demonstrated skills in customer service, relationship building, and effective communication.
