Office Support Specialist

As an Office/Front Office Assistant at Healthy At Home Caregivers, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can multitask with ease.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct business calls and interactions with clients and referral sources in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide prompt responses to clients regarding scheduling, availability, and other important matters.
Interact with Care Managers, upper management, and clinical staff in a professional and respectful manner.
Perform scheduling functions, including logging changes in employee/client schedules and documenting necessary items in HomeCare IT software.
Review and manage client status changes within the Provider Direct database.
Possess knowledge of home care and be able to advise clients and employees as needed.
Participate in employee orientation and address issues with direct field staff.
Fill cases referred by contracting agencies and referral sources in a timely manner.
Possess knowledge of HIPAA, ethical/moral standards, client rights to privacy, and issues of confidentiality.
Think, communicate, and act clearly and quickly.
Address paperwork, scheduling, and personnel issues directly with staff.
Multitask between phone calls, emails, and other tasks.
Demonstrate networking skills and attract clients and referral sources in a legitimate and professional manner.
Possess advanced writing skills to compose incident reports, memos, and other written assignments.
Require intense attention and concentration, as well as good visual, verbal, and hearing skills.
Possess flexibility and ability to deal with a wide range of personality types and ages.
Required to attend events such as Job Fairs and Community events to promote the Organization.
Required to be on a weekend call at least once a month.
Required to wear different hats and perform office duties as scheduled by the Director.
Requirements
Experience in home care, specifically as a caregiver or scheduling coordinator, is preferred.
Excellence in Scheduling Software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet, Email, and Microsoft Windows operation is required.
Some College Education is required.
Salary Description
$22-$27 / hour
