Facilities Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at PSC Biotech. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth integration of new systems into our existing infrastructure and supporting various engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities- System Onboarding: Onboard systems into our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including setting up system IDs, filling in system-specific details, and developing calibration and maintenance plans according to design and specification documents.
- System Verification: Physically verify system and equipment information to support the verification of system data (serial numbers, tag IDs, etc.) and ensure the inclusion of all necessary information.
- Engineering Support: Support our site engineering team by facilitating third-party commissioning, calibration, and maintenance activities, and coordinate and oversee these tasks.
- Documentation: Draft and execute IQ, OQ, PQ protocols for required equipment and systems, and review and approve drafted documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Project Support: Support the team in meeting project objectives, complete all project deliverables specified in the scope, and support equipment, instrumentation, and calibration testing.
- Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and compliance of laboratory facilities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: 3 years or more of facilities commissioning, qualification, and validation experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with a CMMS such as Blue Mountain RAM, IBM Maximo, Fracttal One, or similar, and strong knowledge of GMP regulations and validation principles.
- Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, demanding environment.
