Job Description

Job Summary:

The Regional Nurse Manager will oversee all nursing operations within their assigned region, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee nursing operations within their assigned region, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Manage staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Collaborate with site management teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with medical and psychiatric providers to develop and implement medical programs.
  • Lead required nursing team meetings, including weekly meetings with lead nurses, monthly 1:1 meetings with individual nursing staff, and monthly meetings with all nursing staff within their region.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in nursing strongly preferred.
  • Licensed as an RN in the state of primary site management, with other states within the region assignment (can include interstate compact agreements).
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership and/or management experience.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire.
  • Washington State Specific Qualifications: (Residential Only) Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker's Permit obtained within 14 days of employment.
