At Jackson and Coker, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our neonatal care team in Louisville, Kentucky.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional who can provide high-quality healthcare services to neonatal patients in both office and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on disease prevention, health promotion, and maintenance, and will be able to work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive healthcare services to neonatal patients, including disease prevention, health promotion, and maintenance.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage, and evaluate patient care.
  • Act as a resource, consultant, and advocate for patients and families.
  • Deliver primary care in a hospital inpatient setting, attending high-risk deliveries, performing resuscitation, and carrying out advanced neonatal procedures.
  • Participate in a Transition to Practice Program tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from a Neonatal PA residency program.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
  • One of the following credentials: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician Assistant Certification (PAC).
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience in a relevant field and a background in education would be beneficial.
