Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Assisted Living Caregiver to join our team. As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you will play a vital role in maintaining the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include providing personal care and designated health-related services, administering medications, and assisting with activities of daily living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, showering, grooming, toilet assistance, and escorting.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and provide reminders to residents as required, according to the Medication Administration Record and as delegated by the RN Supervisor.
  • Environmental Maintenance: Maintain a clean and healthy environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Documentation: Document any resident condition changes in the resident chart and communication log.
  • Training and Development: Complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of documented training and stay up-to-date with completing a Mantoux test.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist kitchen staff at meal times with set up, serving, and clean up, and provide on-the-job training for new associates.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School education or equivalent.
  • Certifications: CNA/NAR or HHA Certificate preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working with older adults.
