Job Title: Multi-Modality Technologist

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Multi-Modality Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and rewarding role.

Job Summary:

As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians. You will position and instruct patients prior to examination, adjust the x-ray equipment, and determine the proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
  • Prepare equipment for use as needed
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient exams
  • Position patients for imaging exams
  • Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
  • Produce diagnostic images
  • Document exam information
  • Report important information to the physician
  • Verify exams on PACS
  • Administer targeted doses of radiation to treat cancer or other diseases
  • Administer trace amounts of radiopharmaceuticals to obtain functional information about organs, tissues, and bone
  • Measure bone mineral density at a specific anatomical site
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology (preferred)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification (required)
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) certification in the state of practice (required in CA and HI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
