Job Title: Network Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at the State of Oregon. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining the routers, switches, modems, LANs, and WANs within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network infrastructure to support the department's operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure best business practices and security of the network
- Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends
Requirements:
- 6 years of experience in network engineering
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Skills:
- Cisco switches
- Cisco Wireless Controllers
- Fortigate Firewalls
- Strategic planning of LANs, WANs, and network security
- Network operations and integration
- Network troubleshooting and monitoring
