Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Medford School District (OR).

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing student needs in speech and language and working collaboratively with school personnel to design and implement plans for the remediation of speech and language problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screens, evaluates, and identifies individual communication needs for students.
  • Plans and implements a program of study following federal, state, and district goals as well as school goals/curriculum that meets individual needs and development of students.
  • Organizes and conducts IEP meetings and manages the IEP process following law and district requirements.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and confidential records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
  • Works with team members to accomplish mutually agreed-upon goals.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Successful experience in a variety of clinical and public school settings.
  • Evidence of multicultural knowledge and cultural competency; bilingual and/or multicultural experience strongly preferred.
  • CF-SLPs are welcome and will be provided with on-site supervision by a fully licensed SLP.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is typically low to moderate noise level. Employees may be exposed to blood-borne pathogens, temperature fluctuations, fumes, odors, and dust.

This is a full-time position with a contract of 192 days. The successful candidate will be required to work effectively under pressure and control all aspects of the job.
