About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Oncology Clinical Assistant to join our team at Christus Health. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our physicians, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
As an Oncology Clinical Assistant, your primary focus will be on increasing physician efficiency and improving patient experience. This includes:
- Coordinating clinical calls with physicians, providing clear and concise updates
- Scheduling follow-up tests and referrals for patients, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Managing the physician's schedule, optimizing their time and productivity
- Providing exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with medical terminology preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably with three years of related experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, with proficiency in keyboarding and general office equipment
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required

Salary Range
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
