Job Title: Windows Server Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Administrator to join our team at Centraprise. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining our Windows-based servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based servers
  • Maintain and sustain a highly automated server OS patching process
  • Participate in follow-the-sun support for global infrastructure servers
  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures
  • Conduct audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
  • Be available to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends, as well as participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience with Windows/Unix operating systems, including Windows 2012/2016/2019/2022
  • Direct experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for hardware, software, and OS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Client
  • Ability to understand and utilize scripting technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Bash/Korn, and other scripting languages
  • Experience with AWS/Azure/VMware Cloud platforms
  • Experience with monitoring tools and requirements for servers
  • Basic knowledge of network theory, design, and architecture
  • Familiarity with one automation tool, such as Ansible, Chef, VMware Aria, Runbooks, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other IT/IS-related major
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones and geography
  • Understanding of WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS
  • Knowledge of remote support concepts and tools
  • Operations experience
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
