Job Title: Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at UVA Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather and prepare surgical instruments and equipment for procedures
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to aseptic technique
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from a surgical technologist training program accredited by CAHEEP/AHEBS or NCCT
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA or NCCT
  • Current Registration with the Virginia Board of Medicine
