Bose is dedicated to improving sound for nearly 60 years. We're passionate about making whatever you're listening to a little more magical. As a Transducer Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in creating products that deliver real benefits to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new transducers from initial feasibility through to mass production
  • Work with our supply base to source and qualify new audio transducers
  • Collaborate with engineers across the corporation to support each of our product categories
  • Analyze acoustical data using MATLAB
  • Develop and improve our tools, lab fixtures, and overall measurement capability
Requirements
  • BS or MS in an appropriate technical discipline (Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics)
  • At least 5 years of work experience in engineering product development, preferably in Automotive (OEM) Audio
  • Strong understanding of physical acoustics, structural dynamics, and electromagnetics
  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams and with systems, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with equivalent circuit simulation using PSPICE/LTSPICE or Simulink/Simscape
  • Knowledge of equivalent circuit representations of acoustical and mechanical systems
  • Experience measuring the linear and nonlinear acoustical performance of loudspeaker drivers
