Nurse Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
  2. Participate in ongoing quality assessment and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
  3. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create a culture of teamwork, driving improved outcomes and service excellence.
  4. Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery as needed.
  5. Contribute to facility-wide engagement initiatives by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  6. Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff members.
  7. Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor resources to meet patient care needs.
  8. Support inventory control and supplies management.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with an Associate's Degree or higher.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice.
  • Active Compact/Multi-State RN license required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • Minimum one year of Charge RN experience and previous critical care nursing experience.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
