We are looking for a future team member for the position of Senior Vice President, Credit Advisory to join our Wealth Management division.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact through the following responsibilities:
  • Originate, negotiate, underwrite, close, and monitor small to moderately complex Private Banking loans.
  • Recommend appropriate risk ratings.
  • Oversee all aspects of Private Banking Lending loan processes for minimally complex loans.
  • Manage and review existing loan portfolios, including conducting loan reviews and site visits.
  • Collaborate with senior Credit Advisors and Private Bankers to identify client and prospect loan opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing and client presentation materials.
  • Work alongside General Counsel on loan documentation.
  • Address unusual low-risk challenges within established policies and procedures.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for banking products and services.
  • Engage with Private Bankers and senior Credit Advisors.
  • Generate new business prospects for the bank, including new loans and associated fees. No direct reports.
  • May offer guidance to junior staff.
  • Contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.
To excel in this position, we seek candidates with the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience, particularly in private banking or commercial lending.
