Ultrasound Technician FSED PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our department.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for ultrasound exams, collecting relevant information, and performing sonographic exams following established protocols. You will also be expected to analyze image quality, complete data sheets, and notify physicians of any unusual occurrences.

Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered or registry eligible by RDMS or ARRT
  • Two to three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two years of experience in a hospital
  • ARDMS eligible, certification preferred
  • Associate Degree
