Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Denver Midtown Clinic Diabetes and Endocrinology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers and patients
  • Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and document medical information
  • Assist with medical procedures, including drawing blood and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Communicate test results to patients and establish plans of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform routine tests, including EKGs and hearing and vision screens
  • Stock patient exam rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Escalate non-routine issues and concerns to the practice manager and/or healthcare provider
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and/or be a certified Medical Assistant
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Three months of previous experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an Accredited National Certification Exam for Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
  • One year of Medical Assistant experience
Work Environment

This position is located at Denver Midtown Clinic Diabetes and Endocrinology in Denver, Colorado. The hourly range for this position is $23.55. Intermountain Health is an equal opportunity employer and offers a comprehensive benefits package to its caregivers.
