Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Denver Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications.
- Perform various clinical tasks, such as drawing blood, collecting laboratory specimens, and processing medical records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; American Heart Association (AHA) certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Competitive hourly rate: $29.53/hour.
