Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Urologic Oncology and Urology team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality cancer care for urologic malignancies in and outside the operating room.
Responsibilities- Provide surgical first-assistance in the operating room, including robot-assisted, laparoscopic, and open cases.
- Rounding on patients in the acute post-operative phase who are admitted to the hospital.
- Post-operative wound care and pain management.
- Timely collaboration with consulting physicians.
- Coordinating discharges from the hospital.
- Evaluation of new consults.
- Outpatient care, including evaluating new and existing patients in collaboration with staff physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA-C) required.
- Licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
- Surgical experience, with previous first-assist experience preferred; laparoscopic and robotic experience a plus.
