Key Responsibilities
  • Nutrition Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough nutrition assessments to identify patients at risk for malnutrition and develop personalized nutrition plans to improve their nutritional status.
  • Education and Counseling: Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition management, and disease prevention.
  • Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize nutrition care processes.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nutrition therapy and share knowledge with colleagues to advance the field.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years of clinical nutrition experience, with a focus on transplant care and chronic disease management.
  • Certifications: Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
