About the Role

The Senior Medical Science Liaison is a key member of the US therapeutic area medical unit team, responsible for analyzing and interpreting scientific data, acquiring customer insights, and fostering external expert networks to advance medical strategy and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in the Northwest territory.
  • Communicate complex scientific information in a compliant, fair-balanced, and non-misleading manner.
  • Support Takeda-sponsored research and facilitate strategically aligned medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research processes.
  • Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to inform and refine medical strategies and/or tactics.
  • Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals and Takeda US Medical.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) or Master's degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a field-based medical science liaison in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
