We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Skills Assessment & Education Specialist to join our team at Virginia Tech University. In this role, you will provide educational and technical expertise in the development, implementation, and evaluation of human and mechanical simulation-based activities for Clinical Skills Assessment & Education.
As a Clinical Skills Assessment & Education Specialist, you will work closely with our faculty and staff to design, implement, and evaluate simulation-based activities that enhance the learning experience for our students. Your expertise will be essential in creating realistic and engaging scenarios that mimic real-world clinical environments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare education and experience in developing and implementing simulation-based training programs. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to have a deep understanding of adult learning principles and be able to design instructional materials that meet the needs of diverse learners. You should also be familiar with current trends and best practices in healthcare education and simulation-based training.
