Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Intake Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless access to infusion therapy services for patients. You will be responsible for communicating with patients to obtain necessary information, investigating and verifying benefits, and facilitating prior authorizations and appeals processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with patients to obtain information required to process prescriptions and benefits
  • Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims
  • Obtain prior authorizations and track progress
  • Facilitate appeals processes and maintain contact with customers
  • Ensure all clinical information and documentation are obtained prior to appeal submission
  • Track and report service issues arising from requests for authorizations or financial assistance
  • Complete assessments and facilitate patient enrollment with manufacturer Hubs
  • Provide information regarding assistance programs and community resources
  • Document case activity, communications, and correspondence in computer system
