Job Title: Team Leader Operations

Anderson Dahlen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a core team of individuals focused on the customers in the Vacuum Business Segment.

The successful candidate will possess strong program management knowledge, technical aptitude, business acumen, and excellent leadership qualities to perform day-to-day activities as well as long-term strategic planning, including talent development and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the segment team, including assigning work for project management, estimating, manufacturing engineering, design, and mechanical engineering, and CAD.
  • Set annual, monthly, and weekly goals for the business segment in support of the overall company goals.
  • Review and monitor progress of individual projects to ensure that milestones are being met across the various projects.
  • Manage the risks and issues that arise over the course of various projects.
  • Prioritize competing project deliverables against the team's capacity.
  • Develop and encourage overlapping skill sets to create flexible capacity within the team's core functions.
  • Ensure deliverables are aligned across the projects.
  • Develop metrics and key performance indicators for the team, including achievement of estimated versus actual metrics, as well as capture lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or business management or related field with 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
  • Proven experience in program management.
  • Solid team building and organizational skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and multi-tasking.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of CAD and 3D modeling tools (preferably Solid Works).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Made to Manage).
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Anderson Dahlen is a family-owned, fully integrated service provider specializing in engineering, design, construction, and smart manufacturing. This acquisition provides Gray new capabilities for stainless-steel manufacturing of key critical equipment for the Food and Beverage industry. It also expands Anderson Dahlen's resources to serve customers in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Vacuum Technology markets.

This position will primarily involve operating a computer at a desk in an office environment. The company fosters a manufacturing type environment.
