Job Summary

This position is responsible for the collection and processing of biological specimens in a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process biological specimens from patients
  • Prepare specimens for analytical testing
  • Enter specimen information into the laboratory's computer system
  • Perform specified analytical testing as assigned
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of department resources
  • Phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience
  • Valid state driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Additional related education and/or experience
