About the Job

We're seeking a skilled High-Performance CPU Power Management Solutions Developer to join our team at Qualcomm. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing high-performance power management solutions for our custom CPUs.

You'll work closely with our hardware power management and firmware development teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization. You'll also have opportunities to engage with third-party partners on new platform enablement and provide input to SoC and platform architects on future designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and verify firmware in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
  • Contribute to the development of CPU Performance Management solutions for future generations of Qualcomm CPUs.
  • Engage with open-source communities to contribute support for processor architectures, device drivers, and firmware features.
  • Collaborate with other teams on platform bring-up, debug, diagnostics, firmware lifecycle, and skills requirements identification.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and 2+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, and 1+ year of software engineering experience.
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • Experience with embedded OSes like Zephyr, eCos, uC/OS, or FreeRTOS.
  • Familiarity with ARM v8 architecture and experience developing for ARMV8 platforms is a plus.

Salary Range: $111,300.00 - $166,900.00
