Orthopedic Physician Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join our team at our multi-specialty outpatient medical facility in Queens, New York.

As an Orthopedic Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, team-based care to our patients. You will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Our facility offers a wide range of health services, including Orthopedics, Women's Health, Endocrinology, and more. We are committed to providing a convenient and patient-centered experience, with state-of-the-art technology and a warm and welcoming staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with patient exams, procedures, and surgeries
  • Conduct patient interviews and take medical histories
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Physician Assistant education program
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant from a New York State approved accrediting body
  • Current, unrestricted New York State license or eligibility for licensure
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Experience in Orthopedic care
