Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities Engineering to join our team at the Indian Health Service. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of our health facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of engineers and support staff to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement engineering plans and designs for new and existing facilities.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project needs and goals.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in facilities engineering or a related field.
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
