Job Summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a licensed Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to manage and execute commercial facility designs, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with project team members, clients, contractors, and technical experts on project-related matters.
- Utilize tools such as Bluebeam Studio, Excel, MasterSpec, and MS Word for effective communication and documentation.
- Ensure quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.
- Manage projects from preliminary engineering to final design, construction documents, and field inspection.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Tennessee Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in commercial facility design, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with current codes and LEED principles.
- Strong project management and business development experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with AGI photometric software, EasyPower or SKM power system software, or similar tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook for effective calendaring and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in power distribution and process controls within water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations is highly desirable.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous.
