About the Opportunity

A leading health services network in New Jersey is seeking a Pediatrician with expertise in child abuse to join their team in Newark.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and chart reviews for child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.
  • Provide in-hospital consultations, including visits with the child victim.
  • Participate in ongoing education and research initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver educational sessions for pediatric house staff, medical students, mental health clinicians, social workers, and law enforcement personnel.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Experience in Child Abuse and Maltreatment, as well as General Pediatrics.
  • New Jersey licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
