Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. in Londonderry, NH. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing construction materials testing on samples of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt, aggregate, and other materials associated with various construction projects.

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to ensure compliance with written testing standards.
• Maintain and organize the laboratory, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Work closely with laboratory and field technicians, interns, and managers to achieve project goals.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying samples and equipment, and may drive to pick up samples at job sites or perform materials testing in the field.
• Meet basic math requirements and write or type observations and test results.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and prior experience working in a lab environment is helpful but not required.
• Ability to safely conduct yourself and the equipment entrusted to you.
