Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Guide PACE Adult Day Center to join our team. As a Program Guide, you will play a vital role in supporting the program and providing exceptional care to our participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist participants with personal care needs, including showers, incontinence, emptying catheters, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
- Provide support with snack and meals as needed.
- Coordinate environmental and supply needs with other team members to ensure a seamless experience for participants.
- Set up rooms and spaces to accommodate activities and events, and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or social services setting, preferably in adult day care or a similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with participants, caregivers, and other team members.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds, and to stand for long periods of time.
