Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dietitian to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a Pediatric Dietitian, you will provide evidence-based nutrition care to patients and families, using practice skills that satisfy their needs and concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate and implement individualized nutrition care plans using current medical nutrition therapy (MNT)
  • Contribute to nutrition care decisions that lead to positive outcomes and serve as an effective educator
  • Address routine problems in the work environment by providing assistance or referring them to other team members
  • Prioritize workload, deliver nutrition care to assigned patients, and discuss/assist/advocate for the nutritional care needs of the patient/family
Requirements
  • Professional knowledge and skills meet generalist-level indicators from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Scope of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance for pediatric dietitians
  • Ability to assess the nutritional needs of patients, develop and implement effective MNT plans of care, recommend and implement effective interventions, and monitor/evaluate nutrition care outcomes for patients in a timely manner
  • Follows PCH standards of care and evidence-based practice guidelines applicable to assigned patients
