Description

The Maintenance Coordinator role involves entering and scheduling work orders. Afterward, they follow up with the maintenance team and the tenant to ensure the work order has been completed satisfactorily. Key responsibilities include




  • Communicating with tenants regarding their maintenance requirements and concerns
  • Entering incoming tenant-based work orders
  • Assigning work orders to the internal maintenance department and outside vendors
  • Coordinating with the Inspection Coordinator and the Rental Turn Manager
  • Following up with recent move-ins to determine satisfaction and discuss any work that needs to be done
  • Processing security deposit refunds using inspections and invoices from turns
  • Collaborating with accounting to accurately bill out for all work performed


Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess




  • A solid understanding of Excel, as well as other MS programs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Mathematical abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Able to be flexible
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team


Preferred Experience

The following qualifications are highly desirable




  • Experience in customer service, administration, and/or project management
  • Some accounting experience or coursework


Education

  • High school diploma/GED
  • College degree not required
