Defensive Systems Modeling and Simulation Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Defensive Systems Modeling and Simulation Lead to join our team at Parsons Corporation.
About the Role:This is a key leadership position that requires a strong technical background in systems modeling and simulation, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers and analysts in the development and execution of systems modeling and simulation projects.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and deliver high-quality products that meet their needs.
- Coordinate multiple tasks, staff, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain software models of complex systems, including radar, directed energy weapons, and surface-to-air missile systems.
- Oversee the evolution of the technical baseline and plan transition steps to add emerging capabilities while maintaining existing products.
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 15+ years of experience.
- Deep technical experience with radar, directed energy weapons, surface-to-air missile systems, and/or anti-satellite weapons.
- Experience developing software in C++ and MATLAB Simulink, and leading software teams.
- Experience with modeling and simulation of weapons systems, and developing software models of radar, interceptor, and sensor subsystems.
- Ability to mentor and provide task leadership.
- Prior leadership experience over teams of teams.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- Prior experience establishing teams and supporting program transitions.
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI Clearance.
